A Receita Federal, com o apoio da Polícia Civil de Santa Catarina, realizou nesta manhã operação em Blumenau contra o descaminho de aparelhos eletrônicos, notadamente da marca Apple (computadores e telefones). O crime de descaminho se caracteriza pela enrrada ilegal no país de produtos sem o devido pagamento de tributos.

As diligências foram cumpridas nos bairros Passo Manso e Vorstadt. Apenas em um dos locais foram apreendidos mais de 500 aparelhos iPhone. Na residência do suspeito foram localizados diversos eletrônicos provenientes de descaminho e ainda dinheiro em moeda nacional e estrangeira, estimado em mais de duzentos mil reais.

As mercadorias apreendidas tem um valor estimado de mais de R$ 3 milhões de reais. Elas foram encaminhadas para o depósito da Receita Federal O dinheiro e o suspeito foram encaminhados para a sede da Polícia Federal em Itajaí/SC.
