Aeronave retornou ao aeroporto de Newark, onde pousou em segurança

Um avião com destino a São Paulo soltou diversas faíscas minutos depois de decolar do aeroporto de Newark, em New Jersey, no estado de Nova York (EUA). O incidente aconteceu na noite de quarta-feira (21) e foi registrado por testemunhas.

Nas imagens, é possível ver a pane elétrica que atingiu o Boeing 777-200, da United Airlines, danificar a lataria da aeronave. Ao menos três objetos em chamas despencam.

Segundo o site Flightradar, o avião precisou retornar ao aeroporto, mas antes sobrevoou uma área de oceano, onde deu cinco voltas, e só então pousou. A manobra faz parte do protocolo de segurança e serve para gastar o combustível da aeronave.
