O ciclone extratropical alagou várias cidades da Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre. Um homem, de 23 anos, morreu em São Leopoldo, por descarga elétrica; duas pessoas estão desaparecidas.

Um paciente foi retirado de barco da UPA de Sapucaia do Sul, também na Região Metropolitana. A unidade foi fechada nesta sexta-feira (16).

A chuva segue castigando parte do Rio Grande do Sul, e as prefeituras pedem que moradores de áreas protegidas de alagamento evitem sair às ruas ao longo do dia.
